Jesus Encounter School
Jesus Encounter School is a deep dive into the depths of the scriptures to find Jesus. As we begin to behold Him and see Him rightly, we know He will begin to come and dwell with His people in ways we could not have imagined. The goal is that loving Jesus becomes our greatest life achievement. Whether we realize it or not, when we read the scriptures with the intent of searching for the Lord in the pages we begin seeking Him. And when we seek Him, He promises that we will find Him!

We recommend that you reach out to the people you wish to have fill them out as soon as possible so they have sufficient time to complete. You may submit the application before your references complete the forms, but your application will be marked as “pending” until we receive their submissions.

Christ and Christ Crucified
In the Gospel of John there’s an encounter between the Pharisees and Jesus. He reveals to them an amazing truth.
“You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” John 5:39-40 NKJV
Jesus shows the Pharisees quite clearly that they knew the scriptures, but they did not see the point of the scripture. Thus they could not see the Lord for who He was. Not understanding the point of the Old Testament scriptures caused them to have an improper vision of the Lord Jesus. This is what is in our heart to do. To show the church the meaning of the scriptures once again.
A remarkable account is written in Luke 24. Jesus encounters the disciples on their way to Emmaus. From this passage we see precisely what Jesus wants to teach us – if we would allow Him to be our Teacher.
“Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” Luke 24:25-27 NKJV
Clearly, Jesus has one thing on His mind to teach us: only One thing is needed; that is Christ Jesus Himself. Jesus clearly communicates that from books of Moses which is the Pentateuch, and the all Prophets including David and Solomon and therefore, the Psalms and Proverbs, which would comprise the entirety of the Old Testament. What is Jesus saying in this passage? Jesus reveals to us that the entirety of the Bible is about Him. He also gives us the starting point. Jesus references His suffering in this passage, which is the cross. The starting point of the Bible is Jesus Christ and the cross. The cross is not part of the story. The cross IS the story according to the Lord Jesus Himself.
It is our heart to raise up multi-generations of Christians who radically love our Lord Jesus Christ. Who come to the full revelation that Jesus is enough. He is all. He has filled all and in Him all things exist. He is our life giver.
During this program there will be weekly assigned reading in the Bible, videos that correspond to the reading assignment, homework based on the reading and videos, and time set aside for you to worship the Lord which Worshipping the Lord which is key to strengthening your prayer life. Worshiping the Lord in the manner He is worthy to be worshiped is vital in our growth and increase in our relationship with Jesus.
The curriculum for each program (Year 1 and Year 2) is structured to take up about 10 hours to complete each week, but the majority of that time consists of reading the Bible and worshipping the Lord. Soon that will become your daily schedule if it’s not already!
